Level 981 **Rancid**

Image
18 moves It's a Rancid Level There's lots of nice grass, and only a few iced crops. We need to throw apples, onions, strawberries and carrots at Rancid this time. We do have many opportunities for good combinations, so look your board over carefully to plan your next move, and remember that a +5 match will take away all of the crops of that type, leading to the cascade effect that allows for more nice matches. Since the logs shift after each move you make, you can get matches out of nowhere, which is a really nice and helpful thing. It isn't very hard to get the iced crops to break, but if you're having problems, try using a shovel. Make sure to watch for those combinations, because they increase the value on your crops, which as they're sitting on the grass, already have increased value. The only crops that are thrown at us, are conveniently the only ones that we need, so no suns to get in our way. It's a fun level, for a Rancid level that is :)

Level 980

19 Moves 4 Flowers 10 Poppies 100 Water drops 100 Onions  We only have the one bull to deal with, and it appears he's guarding the sheep. Make matches towards the bottom until you can get one to move the bull away from the sheep. Then look closely at the board to see where you need to place the bull, in order to line him up with the poppies. Both sides of the board have the moving log plumes, so keep in mind that the poppies move right along on those. Work on getting your sheep up and over to the hay, and if you can get her onto the logs, she'll be moved closer to the hay on her own, saving you moves. Then when she gets next to the hay, try and make a match to place her there, using a shovel if needed to set up a good match. Getting the bull to collect the poppies isn't too awfully hard, and you'll notice that most of your crops have already been collected along the way. Watch for combinations of any kind, even if they aren't the required crops, because they still i

20 Moves Requirements: 50 Carrots 50 Suns 50 Water drops 50 Strawberries At first glance, this level almost makes you shudder! But it actually just looks worse than it is. Even though the Grumpies are frowning at us, they do play an important role here. You'll notice a diagonal line of unopened flowers down the board, we don't need the flowers as a requirement, but they are in the way of the iced crops below. Make matches of the grumpies next to the flowers to open them. and as they're cleared, crops will fall down and you can match them up to the iced crops to melt them away. The flowers were sitting on logs also, and as the logs shift after a move, they can sometimes help make matches for you. Once you get your iced crops opened, you'll see that they're covering lovely areas of grass. And when the grumpy crops fall onto these, they turn happy again, giving you a chance to make matches of a higher value. You can help the ice along by using a shovel here and there

Level 978

27 Moves Requirements: 2 Flowers 50 Apples 50 Strawberries 20 Firecrackers Although water isn't a requirement on this level, we do need them for the seeds to make our flowers. I found that working on clearing the area of firecrackers from around the seeds easiest, but you may find a different approach better for you. Make matches next to the water barrels for water drops, and hopefully, with some luck, they'll fly over next to the seeds. Swap and make your flowers, and work on getting them to grow by making matches next to them. We only need the four seeds for flowers, but if you find that a firecracker has taken out one of them, worry not, because more will fall from above. After you have your four flowers, making water really isn't a necessity.. Remember that your shovels serve several purposes, like hurrying along both the firecrackers, and the flowers, and patting the barrels to make water.

Level 977

Image
21 Moves Requirements: 6 Poppies 125 Carrots 125 Onions 125 Strawberries An ice- encased, bull stomping level.. By now, you know how to get the bulls to the poppies, and sometimes it can really be a puzzle. Make your matches next to them to move them where you want them to go. Study your board carefully and plan your moves ahead. Look for any combinations of the T or L shape, to increase the value on your crops, and especially the +5 combination that clears the board of all crops of that type. Use your shovels wisely, either on the ice, or to set up a particularly good match. I found a good way for the bull movement was, left bull up, then go right and then back to the left, right bull, down, go left then back to the right.

Level 976

Image
23 Moves (revised) Requirements: 3 White sheep 60 Carrots 60 Onions 60 Strawberries Start by trying to get the fireflies of the hay right from the get go. They not only cover the hay, but are on the moving logs as well. Then work at getting the sheep towards the hay.  The sheep can sometimes be stubborn to move, so remember that you can use a shovel to help line up a potential match next to them, to give them that extra nudge. The fireflies to can be helped along with shovels too, especially if you have most of them ready to fly and just need tap or two. Try and make rows in between sheep to move them into the hay squares as that will save you a move. As on many levels before, remember to look for combinations. (video has an extra sheep needed)

Level 975 **Farm Club**

Image
17 Moves (changed) Requirements: 500 Apples 500 Suns Farm Club Level Wow! 500 of each crop? and with bombs galore.. Before you start, look closely at the board, I immediately found a +5 combination that cleared the board of all suns, and in the process, prompted another +5 to magically fall into place on it's own. Keep an eye out for these combinations, but also watch for the countdown on the bombs. Shovels are going to be in high demand, and can be used for taking out a bomb that's ready to go off, or for grabbing up a crop with a high value on it. Be careful though, for each bomb that you don't catch in time, it takes away 5 of your already gathered crops. So try matching up the bombs the best you can. Try making rows that will either make a bomb fall to meet its matching family, or that includes a bomb row too. The good thing about this level is that aside from the bombs, the only other crops that fall down, are the ones you need for your requirements. So you needn'

Level 974

17 Moves 6 Oysters 150 Apples 150 Carrots 150 Onions  You only have to get the 6 oysters, and you can use shovels on those if needed. If you work from the bottom, you can get the cascading effect, and some of the matches will fall into place by themselves, helping you even more. Watch for combinations, and crops with a high value. video to come

Level 973

Image
16 Moves (revised again!) 110 Strawberries 110 Suns 2 White Sheep 7 Flowers The logs are back to confuse us once again! Work first on the bottom left of the board, trying to open the flowers. You'll not be able to get the sheep home with the blooms sitting on the hay. Get your sheep close to, or on the log plume, so that when the flowers are cleared, you can bring the sheep in. There are an awful lot of strawberries and suns needed here, so keep an eye out for those +5 matches, that clear the board, and any other combinations that increase the value of your needed crops. This level has been changed, it used to need 20 oysters collecting too, so its much easier! :)

Level 972

Image
20 Moves Requirements: 8 Flowers 2 Chicks 85 Water drops 85 Strawberries A nice normal level this time. Make matches next to the flowers, ideally touching more than one flower at a time to save moves. The strawberries are easy enough to get, but if there seems to be a shortage on water drops, try making combinations of +4 and +5 matches, and also any T or L shape to increase the value of the water. Better yet, if you can match 5 of any crop, it clears the board of that type, and allows your needed water drops to "rain down". Shovels are handy, and work nicely on cracking the eggs, or gathering crops with a high value, especially those on the grassy areas.

Level 971

Image
24 Moves Requirements: 1 Spider 75 Suns 40 Mushrooms 2 Poppies They changed this level a little, before we needed chicks, now we need 40 mushrooms instead but its not so bad. Try moving the bull to the bottom as soon as you can, and then moving him left and right to break the webs. Or wait until the webs at the bottom have been broken, then move him. Once you get those out of the way, you can collect the needed poppies with the bull. Hopefully some of the other webs are broken along the way, and you can get the spider to move to another nest (He has 3 waiting ones). Mushrooms are grown by making matches next to them, so the more you match next to them, the bigger your mushroom crop will be. As long as you keep doing that you will soon have enough to pick 40. Don't hesitate to use your shovels on webs, or crops with high points on. Watch your moves closely, they run out faster that you want, leaving you scratching your head at the end screen that pops up!

Level 970

Image
28 Moves 1 Chick 45 Carrots 45 Apples 45 Water drops There is not much-room on this level lol. You need to break the mushrooms under the ice to get them moved out of the way so that you can move the chickens to make them start producing eggs, Luckily we only need one chick. As you are busy breaking the ice, be gathering your crops. Some seem harder to get than others, so always gather the higher valued crops first. You don't really need both chickens, but you get eggs quicker if you do. The only problem is then they end up spoiling prospective rows. Use shovels to break ice, or drop crops for higher points on rows.

Level 969

Image
20 Moves (changed) 4 Chicks 2 Black Sheep 65 Apples 65 Carrots Shuffle the chickens out of the way to get them to lay eggs, and start moving the sheep down. The trouble is with black sheep is they eat the hay, so you will need to move them to different patches. Keep making your crop gathering rows next to the chickens so they lay eggs and then use your rows to lead your sheep to the hay.

Level 968

Image
23 Moves Requirements: 2 Poppy Flowers 2 Black Sheep 100 Carrots 100 Onions Move the bull either straight down and to the right, or right then down to get the first poppy. To get the second bull, go the opposite way, either to the left side, or the top edge, then just go in the direction you need. If you find you can move the sheep to, over to the hay, use the chance. Then you need combinations and +5 rows to gather the points needed for the other crops. Luckily we do not need high amounts this time.

Level 967

Image
18 Moves 4 Fireflies 4 Sheep 160 Suns 160 Onions They removed the rabbit that ate the carrot bombs as they removed carrots...and changed them to a water slurping frog, which they then removed but left the bombs *cries* But then they also removed the mushrooms. Remove the fireflies, start at the bottom as if you start with the top ones, you will just get them lit and when trying to remove the bottom ones, crops will make them turn off again. Don't worry too much if an occasional bomb goes off as you should get plenty of crops falling down for you to harvest.

Level 966 **Rancid**

Image
(revised)15 Moves; 700 Water drops, Apples, Carrots and Suns to gather and throw at the smug Racoon. Make as many rows as you can next to your water buckets. You can beat this level if you keep flooding the board. Because the more that jumps out, the more rows it will make itself which means you will get more points too. If you really want to use shovels, you could always use them to pat buckets or make better rows by removing in the way crops. (you will probably have to now as they made the level harder) The more moves you have left the more stars you get, so this is where shovels do come in handy if you use them as they can save you moves.

Level 965

Image
16 Moves (revised and again) 6 Sheep 85 Carrots 85 Apples This level was different before, it had mushrooms. You need to carefully maneuver your sheep over to the hay. Watch the crops carefully on the logs to try and match up without you needing to move other crops and try to move more than one sheep over onto the  hay at a time if you can.

Level 964

Image
To get anything done on this level you need to open the fireflies and remove them. This will mean you can then get to your spiders and sheep. You need to move both spiders into their empty nest before you can try moving the sheep. You need combinations, rows of 5 crops and cascading crops to get the numbers needed. You will notice that once you have removed your fireflies, that the hay seeds can start moving down. The sheep you need to collect are white ones, so try and make a hay patch as close to the sheep as you can, but you don't have to make more than one which will save moves. Keep a careful eye on the spiders in the corners and as soon as the crops fall correctly, make them go away. Use a shovel to help drop crops into the right place if needed.

Level 963

Image
20 Moves 16 Firecrackers 65 Onions 65 Strawberries 65 Suns You will get more firecrackers fall, so not only do we need to collect 16 of them, they also help break the webbed seeds and grab crops for us. You need the webs broken, so you can hopefully make some grass grow over the slime. You do not need to do it on both sides, if you can get enough grass on one side, you can concentrate on that side and that is where the points will add up.

Level 962

Image
24 Moves Requirements: 150 Onions 150 Water drops 2 Black Sheep 150 Apples This ones tricky but fun with it. You don't need to remove all of the flowers. The only thing is, if you don't, you cannot move the sheep and you won't get extra points from crops falling on the grass. Aim to move the left side of it, you will probably find the right side clears anyway once you are making rows. Move the sheep down as soon as you get a path, no matter how small and lead him over to the hay. Then concentrate on making as many rows as you can on the grass.

Level 961

Image
23 Moves (revised) 2 Sheep 10 Flowers 75 Water drops 75 Strawberries To lead the sheep to freedom in this level, you need to open the flowers so that you can get to the hay. The best way to do this is to make as many rows against as many flowers as you can. Encourage them to cascade whenever you can, not only will it save moves but it will also add points meaning you gather less crops. As soon as you have cleared enough crops to have crops falling against the water buckets, try to make as many matches as you can.  Concentrate on making as much water as you can to make sure that part is complete. If you do all the above in as few moves as possible, it gives you more moves to move your sheep onto the hay. Save your shovels for this part as its highly frustrating to be able to move a crop out of the way to get to your sheep and have none left.

Level 960 **Farm Club**

Image
13 Moves Requirements: 150 Apples 150 Onions 150 Suns This is another mixed review level. I was lucky enough to pass it on first try but I know others who struggled with it. It comes down to a good board, the correct crops falling where you need them. The good thing about it, there is not a mushroom in sight. Lots of bombs on this level, but lots of grass for added points, so bring your shovels along as really, they give you 3 moves. As you are making rows, try and match them with the iced crops so that they are broken. As they rotate on the logs, then hopefully the bombs will be matched up too. Take advantage of any +5 rows you can find. This is where shovels come in handy so you can remove crops that are in the way of making the perfect row. Gathering the points isn't actually too bad as you only get the crops you need, its the bombs you need to watch out for, so no other crops to get in the way. You should find falling cro

Level 959

Image
25 Moves (revised) Requirements: 1 Spider 75 Apples 10 Flowers 40 Mushrooms One spider sitting comfy and 3 extra nests for him to jump in to. One of the multi-tasking levels where you really need to do everything together. But we will start off by moving the spider into his next web to begin with. While you are busy breaking his webs, make your rows so that you are opening flowers too. You cannot do a lot about the mushrooms at the moment as they are not in good places. Once you can get to them though, they can be quite helpful in opening up flowers. You just need to get them to split up into rows against them, then when you make a row elsewhere they will jump up into grown up mushrooms and open the flowers before springing off. Ideally get crops to fall and cascade, along with any combinations for extra points. The mushrooms can also get extra points added onto them when they are adults, just the same as other crops. Careful use of shov

Level 958

Image
30 Moves (revised) 16 Flowers 25 Mushrooms 115 Strawberries 115 Carrots Try and get as many flowers opened as you can to start with by making longer rows. You have quite a few firecrackers on the board, we don't need to collect them, but they come in very handy for opening the flowers at the bottom as well as removing crops. You need to clear the flowers so that you can get to the mushrooms, and they need space to multiply. Once they have room, keep making rows against them. This is a tricky level so it will take practice. Mostly you get amelia's airdrop booster on this level. Ignore the crops with it and use it on the mushrooms to get more onto the board with less effort. Watch the video to see it in action :)

Level 957

Image
16 Moves 50 Mushrooms 130 Firecrackers 160 Apples 160 Water drops Thankfully this level is more fun than the last one. You need to make as many rows next to the firecrackers AND the mushrooms as you can. Once you start making rows, the water drops will clear and other crops will start falling down, so on your first move, try and take as many water drops as you can. Once your other crops start falling, they should fall in a way that will make it easier to collect the crops, its the mushrooms that are the pain. Just keep making as many rows next to them as you can, over and over again to keep getting them to split up and make more.

Level 956

Image
20 Moves 120 Suns 20 Water drops 100 Apples 100 Carrots Welcome to Episode 61! Continuation of the mushrooms who are definitely not fun-guys. This first episode is not an easy one. You need to rely a lot on the firecrackers. You do not need to collect the mushrooms, so they tend to get in the way too much and spoil a good board. Start by working your way down, you need to make as many rows against the buckets as you can, but actually, the mushrooms do help with this. If you make a row next to mushrooms against your buckets, and they divide, sometimes they will make rows, then when you make your next move, they will grow up and move your buckets water level up a notch. It makes a row for you while you can be making another row elsewhere. Pretty cool. Use the firecrackers to help crops and make water. Although you have 20 moves, they go quickly, so try and cascade your crops so they make rows for you. The more points you get on each cro

Level 160

Image
14 moves (revised level) 2 dragons 60 water 60 carrots 60 strawberries Break the iced blocks so you free the eggs. If you use your shovels to break the ice that will help you make more matches too. Since the release they did make it a tiny bit easier. Not only did they reduce the amount of crops we need to collect...(yes it was worse), They also increased the egg count but give us plenty of eggs to match. Cascade crops to get the points.

Level 159 **Farm Club**

Image
15 Moves (revised) 17 Onions 17 Carrots 17 Apples 17 Strawberries This is a pretty straightforward level, even though they took away a few moves since it was first released. As we are now earning companions they have to make us earn them. Basically you need to make all your rows on the grass to collect the needed crops. Even rows made on slime though can add to the grass crops points. Remember your shovels as you can drop crops to make rows where you need them. The more moves you have left in heroes mode, the more chance you will have of making all 3 stars to collect all 3 animals.

Level 158

Image
20 moves Requirements: 20 water 20 suns 5 flowers Slime is back - oh no! And very little grass to cheer the grumpies up.  Hard one as the flowers are not very easy to get to, easier where the slime is, so it feels as though you have many wasted moves.  At least when the crops are in slime and grumpies, when you match them next to flowers, they still count and help unfurl them.  Its easier to get the flowers out the way first.  If you build up the value of suns or water, you can always remove them with a shovel to keep the points if you can't match them straight away. When the crops fall down the middle you have more chance of getting the crops that don't fall into the slime.

Level 157

Image
30 Moves (revised level) Requirements: 6 Strawberries 140 Apples 22 Carrots 18 Dragons This level has been changed a little since the original release but its still pretty tricky. You don't need to break the iced crops at the bottom, you do get more carrots and strawberries falling so if you get enough falling and they all get added points on, you won't even need to touch the ice. The advantage of breaking it though, means that you have more room to make rows. Make as many rows as you can on the grass to collect your apples as this will give you extra points without having to do anything. The dragons are not too hard to collect as you get plenty of cracked eggs, so you don't need to waste moves making rows to crack them. You will likely have to keep replaying the level, but you will get a good board where the crops fall where you need them and you will pass.

Level 156

Image
20 moves Requirements: 2 chicks 8 flowers 40 strawberries This is another hard level.  The companions do help. Make sure you buy shovels before you start the level.  Match next to the flowers at every chance, but you need to harvest crops with extra points on along with matching the eggs so you can crack them. The chickens are quite easy, its the strawberries that are worse. You don't have as many as you need near each other, so this is why you need the extra points on them.

Level 155

Image
25 moves Requirements: 4 flowers 70 apples 70 strawberries 70 suns As soon as you make a move near the flowers, you end up with empty spaces beneath them, and nothing there to match.  It prevents the other crops dropping below until you have unfurled the flowers, so try doing them as soon as possible to give yourself more crops to work with.  Don't forget you can match crops above them as well.  Yes they are in the slime section but they still count towards the flower help when matched.  Watch out for the slime section. Luckily the grass is there again to neutralize it.  Not an easy level, as, as soon as you remove flowers, the slimy ones drop and there is only one strip of grass to help. Try to make as many rows as you can on the grass though as that is where you will get your points.

Level 154

Image
15 moves Requirements: 60 water 150 strawberries 150 apples This level has been changed since the guide was first wrote. This is the updated version. We still have 15 moves, but since they introduced the "match 5 crops and it removes all the same crops" move, it because stupidly easy to win the level with high scores. So please don't look at your score board and think you are doing something wrong, or all your friends were cheating if they have points in the millions. It was so easy it was actually fun being able to go back and replay it until they made it harder again. Just to get a silly score. Originally the only crops you had were the 3 you need. Now you have the added Suns (that you don't need to collect), to stop it being so easy and the amount of crops needed has increased dramatically. So that is why we all had silly scores and you might struggle. Its no reflection on your playing. Try and match 5 where ever you can. This will help get your crops needed

Level 955

Image
24 Moves **Changed level!** 4 Poppy Flowers 6 Flowers 80 Apples 80 Strawberries The bulls are moseying up the river on the logs, so while they are making their way to the top, make as many rows as you can next to the flowers. You ideally need the middle two logs clear of the flowers, by the time the first bull gets to the top. Don't move the bulls off their logs until they reach the top and then try to move them both across to hit the top two poppies at the same time. It is sometimes better to quit and start again if you haven't reached that point by now. If the flowers are not cleared, you can get the poppies on the second run, but you are going to have less moves left. While you are clearing flowers also be breaking the iced crops. The position you need by the time the bulls have gone over to the top poppies really, is to break the iced crops, but don't move the bulls back over yet. Wait until they are going to hit the barrier and stop them going back over onto the

Level 954

Image
16 Moves Requirements: 2 Fireflies 2 Spiders 110 Apples 110 Strawberries The fireflies are under the protection of the spider webs. You need to remove that protection in as few moves as possible. It doesn't really matter if you remove the spiders until later in the game, its the webs that we are more concerned with at the moment. The less webs, the more room you have for combinations etc. Try clear the ones on the logs and the bottom row so that once the logs are clear, you can start making matches to get the fireflies. You can use shovels on them if you are running out of moves. Combinations and getting extra points will help you get all the crops you need. You will need to do this a lot because quite a few of your moves will be wasted on breaking webs.

Level 953

Image
20 Moves (changed) Requirements: 95 Apples 95 Carrots 95 Strawberries 90 Water drops You have many airdrop boosters and will get more falling, and having tried it all ways, the best conclusion to come to was that you don't need to use them in many of your moves. . You never have many water drops on the board, so you definitely need to use the air drops on them. For those of you who can't remember how to use them, they are pretty easy. You swap a booster with the crop you want more of, then the little plane flies over and drops (I think its 6) more of the crop that you swapped the booster with. So if you swapped a strawberry for example, you would get strawberries being dropped. And basically that is what you have to do. Pick a crop (ideally the one with most on the board) and swap it with the airdrop booster and do that a couple of times until the number of crops rises. Watch for possible +5 rows as you need every bit of help you can get. Sometimes the crops

Level 952

18 Moves 7 Oysters 30 Mushrooms 75 Strawberries 4 Fireflies Perseverance is the best tip for this level. You need a good board (don't we always) but you will get one. Also cascading crops is the key. Unlike other levels, leave the fireflies until after you have opened most of the oysters and made mushrooms. Partly because you don't have a lot of choice and partly because its easier. Watch the oysters in the corners though as they are the trickiest to get. Mushrooms are really easy this time, just be careful not to trap oysters under them, although when you get rows of babies, it helps when they develop. Opened oysters without moving. As crops fall down they will get the extra points on that you need to gather all the strawberries. I found the hitter companion was helpful this time. video on request

Level 951 **Rancid**

Image
24 Moves 600 Carrots, Strawberries, Apples, Water drops This isn't the worst Rancid level ever so don't panic. There are a lot of iced crops and flowers to open, but you don't need to open any to fulfil your requirement. The only reason its a good idea to get rid of some is because underneath them are grass patches, and as you know, grass adds points onto crops. So clear as much grass as you can by using combinations and matching five crops, but don't go out of your way to do that, otherwise you will waste moves. Luckily we have 24 so plenty of chances to get some cascading crops.
